Breaking a Baseball Barrier



Meggie Meidlinger chats with a teammate before their game against Heritage High School. Meggie has been playing with a lot of the players since tee-ball, so she is just one of the guys.



Meggie Meidlinger warms up her arm with the rest of her team before their game against Heritage High School. Meggie says that she doesn't feel she has to work harder to prove herself as the only girl on the team, since she puts 100 percent into everything she does. Proof of her hardworking attitude are in her good grades (she has gotten nearly straight As) and her artistic accomplishments.

The only thing that separates Meggie Meidlinger from the rest of the guys on the baseball team is the locker room. She shares it with all of the girls' teams at Dominion High School.
